Present Day:
Walkiria grimaced as she felt her opponents powerful legs lock around her waist in leg scissors hold strong enough to bend steel. The red-haired warrior tried to twist and get a grip on her foes ankles, hoping to pry her legs apart. Try as she might, the viscous pink goo covering both of them made it nearly impossible for her to get a grip. Walkiria tried to push up and away, but felt her opponent grab her left arm, pulling it up and away. The crowd roared with excitement as her head was pushed down into the clinging slime. Walkiria could feel the pink goo squish between her breasts as she wriggled and squirmed in an attempt to break free. She managed to free her trapped arm as she rolled them both onto their left sides. Her muscles bunched and rippled with power as she arched her back to ease some of the pressure of the leg scissors hold. The crowds cheers grew deafeningly loud as she did so. It was then that Walkiria realized the thin strap of her too-small bikini top had finally surrendered to the abuse it had taken during the battle. Walkiria blinked, blinded by the multitude of camera flashes going off as her breasts swung free and unfettered.
Two days prior:
Maia cursed as she ran for the phone. Clutching a towel around her dripping body, she wondered yet again why the phone only seemed to ring when she was home alone and in the shower. Cant they ever call when Olga is here to answer the phone? I swear there must be a hidden camera in that bathroom! she thought to herself as she picked up the phone, making sure the video pick up was turned off before she pressed the answer button. Hello, this is Walkiria, she said into the phone.
Hi Maia, this is Lin. How are you?
Walkiria smiled. Fantastic Lin was one of the other heroines living here in Angel Falls. Walkiria had worked alongside the Korean/Japanese heroine following the tidal wave disaster. As two of the strongest members of the response team, she and Lin had done a lot of the heavy lifting in the hours following the disaster. The pair had carried several large ships that had been beached by the wave back to the water. The two of them worked as a team moving ships and debris out of the way of first responders coming to the disaster. Since then, she and Lin had formed a friendship. Along with Olga the Soviet Superwoman, the three had bonded over work out and sparring sessions. Lin was somewhat of a fanatic when it came to working out. Walkirias military service had instilled a lifelong habit of physical fitness in her. But after she gained her powers, there seemed little point. But working out with an expert like Lin had produced benefits that Walkiria would have never suspected. While not increasing her strength, the workouts had finally given her real control of her strength. Where before she had felt awkward when trying to control her power, Walkiria now was able to adjust her power level as necessary. Lins training had been instrumental in helping her finally fully integrate her powers.
Maia listened as Lin laid out an invitation to join her for a charity event. Come on Maia, itll be fun. Its a friendly wrestling match, sort of a combat exhibition. The money will be going to the Angel Falls Relief Fund. Lin continued excitedly, You know people will pay to see two of AFs strongest throw down. I might even let you win!
Maia laughed at Lins infectious enthusiasm. Let me win, huh? Thats mighty generous of you, Lin. Just tell me when and where, Ill be there. I assume I need to wear my uniform?
No, I already have something picked out for us. You know, something fun, that fits the wrestling theme. I know you like WWE wrestling; I think you will like this!
Maia jotted down the address and time, promising to be there. Lin was one of the more civic minded heroines in Angel Falls and Maia wanted to support her efforts. Another reason crossed her mind. After Olgas recent misadventure in Russia had caused some people to view the Russian heroine with increasing suspicion. Maia had heard and read the editorials on the radio and in the newspapers. As Maia and Olgas relationship became more and more public, some spill over was inevitable. If she could score some public relations points, it might help the way some people perceived Olga as well. Putting the phone back in its cradle, she went back to the bathroom to finish her shower.
One hour prior:
Lin, you cant be serious!
What, I told would supply you with a costume, protested Lin.
Lin, this isnt a costume, its a handkerchief! I have applied pressure bandages that covered more than this! Maia said, as she waved the small bits of cloth laughingly called a bikini. She doubted the entire thing would cover the surface of a baseball if it was wrapped around the ball. I am not going out in front of all those men wearing just this. I am just going to wear my uniform.
Maia, you cant. This was billed as a superheroine bikini match. Besides, you dont want to ruin your uniform. That jello might stain it.
Maia stared at Lin, a look of horrified disbelief on her face. Jello? You expect me to go out there with you wearing just this and wrestle in jello?!?
Well, yeah. Its be fun. They have a pool full of jello, strawberry-kiwi! Oh no, you arent allergic to strawberries or kiwi fruit, are you? Lin asked worriedly.
No, Im not allergic, that isnt the issue. You never mentioned this fund raiser was a bikini jello wrestling match Lin! How is this going to look?
Aw come on Maia, dont be such a stick in the mud! We have sold over $40,000.00 in tickets, all going to charity. You arent going to disappoint all those people, are you? Lin asked as she offered the hanger holding the miniscule bikini to her friend.
Maia said nothing, simply glaring at Lin for nearly a minute. Finally she took the hanger from Lin. Fine! But you so owe me for this, Lin! I just pray Olga doesnt find out about this!
